We have static and rotating Chinese Poles for our classes and available for Open Gym members. Two of the poles are the same distance as those found in popular Cirque shows featuring Chinese pole, for those advanced enough to be working on transfers between poles. If you're interested in trying it for the first time or a professional looking to get a front salto, we have the coaching to get you there.

What to wear
Jeans, "Vans" style shoes, and a sweatshirt to protect the skin from burns when sliding down the rubberized, grippy pole. Wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Hair should be pulled back and any jewelry removed before class.
Advanced tips: The most popular shoes are Feiyue (Martial Arts) or Asics Matflex (Wrestling) shoes. Since Chinese pole can rapidly destroy clothing, check used clothing stores (e.g. Goodwill) for jeans and sweatshirts. To secure jeans, don't use a belt with a buckle, as it can cause bruising and damage the pole. Instead, make a belt from paracord using a trucker hitch for a low-profile, safe belt system that protects you and the pole when doing slides (adjustable belt video).
Physical Requirements
Students must be free of injuries that would prevent safe enjoyment of the class. Our beginner classes are easily adapted to the strength of the student. If you have special needs, please contact us and we can see how best we can accommodate you.
